In the latest quarter of 2008, the Control Quality Department is equipped with two machines: RobControl - for RX lenses control and MCEVS - Control and packaging Unit.
RobControl
The RobControl is machine dedicated to control prescription lenses production. After processing and before coating, the machine inspects the optical and dimensional characteristics of all lens type. The major advantage of this intermediary control is to avoid coating out of tolerance and subsequently to avoid the increase of delivery terms. The machine also performs the control after coating process to identify and verify the treatment as well as to comare the results of the paired lenses and rejection of mutual different lenses.
The features of RobControl machines are lens diameter measurement, thickness measurement without contact, axis alignment check, measurement of prism, spheric and cylindric power of all types of lenses, addition control and position of segment of bifocal lenses. The machine owns the system for progressive identification in order to check all parameters from Free Form processing, as well as integrated printer for progressive lenses marks printing.
The main purpose for introduction this machine in production is to eliminate the human factor from control process, to increase the level of producti quality as well as reduction in deliveru times.
MCEVS - Control and packing unit for stock lenses
This machine provides 100% control of power, diameter and thickness of stock lenses and than packaging in appropriate lens bags, safely closing of bags with the label of lens parameters. In addition to sorting of defect lenses, the machine also arrange the correct lenses after packaging and marking.
With this machine is achieved the major affidability of stock lenses. The new design of lens envelopes give the opportunity for fast and visual identification of lenses and provides the client with all necessary information. In addition, the machine give all statistical reports referring to controlled production, what gives the possibility for analysis.
The employees in this department constantly follow trends on the world market and maintain contact with renowned world manufacturers of raw materials and equipment, collect samples and analyse the quality of products of potential raw materials suppliers.
One of the regular and significant tasks of this department is to control incoming raw materials and statistical monitor the quality of raw materials of all suppliers.
Qualified personnel of our production department provide clients with accurate and verified data on optical characteristics of materials as well as other parameters competent for selecting relevant lenses for each and every patient.
Certainly the most important activity in this department is monitoring and applying international standards and provisions that regulate quality control issues regarding ophthalmologic lenses productions. We would like to underline that the following standards are applied in our production process:

Having applied appropriate procedures, our production is in conformity with 93/42/EEC Directive which is enacted in the countries of European Union.
